What Makes a CFF FIT Purchase a Smart Move?
In order to keep costs down for our customers, we vet equipment immediately upon arrival. We decide if a machine is worthy of being sold As-Is, Cleaned & Serviced, or if it is a prime candidate for being Refurbished.
Tier 1: As-Is Gym Equipment (The Ultimate Value Opportunity)
Selling well below market value, our As-Is inventory is perfect if you don't mind a little cleaning or basic servicing. It is a great opportunity for those looking to save or even make money by servicing and reselling the equipment themselves.
- Condition: Functional units that may need a deep clean, a specific part replaced, or a missing screw on a shield.
- Cosmetics: Expect scuffs, possible rust, or a cracked cover from prior use.
Tier 2: Cleaned & Serviced Performance Machines
These units are rigorously tested to ensure 100% functionality. If a critical component—like a motor, bearing, or heart rate sensor—isn't perfect, it is replaced.
- The Process: The machine receives a deep cleaning and new drive belts.
- Note: To maintain the lowest price point, treadmill walking belts, plastic covers, and cables are generally not replaced unless they are failing.
Tier 3: CFF FIT Certified Refurbished Fitness Gear
We focus heavily on mechanics and performance, selecting only the best machines for this tier. While we don't prioritize cosmetic paint, we ensure the machine performs flawlessly and looks excellent.
- Mechanical Overhaul: We replace drive belts, walking belts, decks, and batteries.
- OEM Standards: Motors, inclinators, alternators, generators, and transmissions are tested to meet OEM specifications or replaced with new/rebuilt units. All electronics and consoles are verified or replaced.
- Precision Detailing: Treadmill rollers are stripped of all wax and polished to their original smooth finish. Bearings, cables, and pulleys are inspected and replaced with new ones if they don't meet OEM standards.
