PRE-OWNED COMMERCIAL CARDIO EQUIPMENT - LEVELS OF SERVICING

Level 1: Just Off Lease: Cleaned & Working Condition

Cleaned, just off lease units are for those who want to save a bundle (As is, guaranteed to fully function with a 30 day warranty on generator). Each unit is given a general cleaning and confirmed functional. Expect cosmetic wear from recent commercial use—scuffs, possible small cracks in shields, scratched paint or flaking, minor surface rust (Star Trac NXT are Aluminum, as well as most treadmills so they will not rust), Bearings are check, belts are replaced (excluding spin bikes); expect your machine to get the job done as-is out of the box. Want a particular part replaced for peace of mind, let us know and we can do so (additional costs involved). Pictures & serial numbers are available once purchased.

Working condition
Cleaned and tested by a CFF FIT technician, but no parts have been replaced.
Chain/belts will be properly adjusted/tension-ed, but not replaced
Bearings have not been replaced
Might be missing some end caps. This has will not affect the performance in anyway.
No tears or rips in the seat
Everything is in working condition (this is a used piece, so expect it to be. It will not be perfect, but get the job done)
Paint will show wear or flaking, cosmetic imperfections such as scratches, surface rust in the usual places, (aluminum frames do not rust).
Shields are not repaired or replaced.
Ask for pictures. Serial numbers, hours, etc.
Usually comes with a 30 day warranty; please inquire in for further information

Additional services are available at an additional charge. You do not have to get a cleaned and serviced unit if you would just like a belt changed or chain replaced. Feel free to email us about receiving any of the cleaned and serviced, services on a just off lease unit.

Level 2: CFF Certified Cleaned and Serviced

At the Cleaned and Serviced level, we pay close attention to the mechanical well being of each unit. Expect your unit to be in excellent mechanical condition (see bullet points). It is only at the re-manufactured stage that we attend to the physical look of the machine & cosmetics.

Completely disassemble each unit and perform an in-depth inspection to asses & diagnose condition of equipment
Drive belts are replaced (Treadmills, ellipticals, Arc Trainers, Stepmills, Bikes, & AMT's – excludes Schwinn Carbon Blues Bikes; these belts are meant to last a lifetime.)
Walking Belts are replaced (Treadmills)
New Decks (treadmills)
Bearings are replaced (most)
Chains replaced (spin bikes, Stepmills)
Motors are refurbished
Alternators are refurbished
Display Overlays are replaced if they are worn. (If Applicable)
Ramp Sleeves/rails are inspected and replaced if they show any wear. (Ellipticals,stepmills)
Incline Motors are greased and repacked (treadmills, arc trainers, AMT's)
Rollers are refurbished – Cleaned, polished, and bearings are replaced (Treadmill)
PCA boards are inspected and refurbished or replaced
Roller wheels & moving wheels are replaced (Ellipticals, spin Bikes, upright & recumbent bikes)
Heart Rate Sensors are replaced (if applicable)
New Battery (if applicable)
Pedals are replaced (there will be an additional charge for Moris taper pedals on spin bikes)
All screws, nuts, & bolts accounted for and replaced if they are corroded or worn.
Paint may be touched up, but the unit has not been re painted or powder coated.
If there was any rust, it has not been removed. This is part of the re-manufacturing process, not cleaned and serviced
Shields are the original shields and have not been replaced (expect scuffs or possible crack)
Expect Scuffs, imperfections in the finish of the frame or shields; minor surface rust is possible
These units are in very good working condition (This is a used piece of gym equipment, so expect it to be used, not new. Even with all the parts replaced, it is still not new and will not be perfect)
2 year warranty on the structural integrity of the frame; 6 months on generator/alternator; 60 days moving parts. This does not cover electronics or labor
Any warranty work done is only to be completed by a certified CFF or a manufactures certified technician

Level 3: CFF Certified Re-manufactured

The refurbishing or re-manufacturing is all about the physical appearance and the machine as a whole. At the Re-manufactured level, you receive everything you do at the cleaned and Service level plus the cosmetics. We start off by completely removing everything (all parts) from the frame. The frame is either touched up or completely painted/powder coated, shields replaced (where necessary), and looks close to new, minor a possible scuff.

Completely disassemble each unit and perform an in-depth inspection to asses & diagnose condition of equipment
Frames are sent out to be strip and re-powder coated. Need a custom color, we can do it.
Drive belts are replaced (Treadmills, ellipticals, Arc Trainers, StepMills, Bikes, & AMT's)
Walking Belts are replaced (Treadmills)
New Decks (treadmills)
Bearings are replaced (All)
Chains replaced (spin bikes, stepmills)
Motors are refurbished
Alternators are refurbished
Display Overlays are replaced if they are worn. (If Applicable)
