Frequently Asked Questions
How do I add more tension to my vise gripper?
Add additional springs to the spring posts on your adjustable vise gripper. Each spring increases resistance. Start with 1-2 springs and add more as your grip strength improves. Order multiple springs to progress over time.
Will this spring fit my hand grip strengthener?
This replacement spring fits CFF adjustable vise grippers and most standard spring-loaded hand grip trainers that use individual tension springs on posts. Check that your gripper uses removable springs, not a fixed coil. Sold individually.
How many springs come in one order?
Sold individually — 1 spring per unit. Order the quantity you need. Most adjustable grippers can hold 5-6 springs total. If you need to add 3 springs to increase resistance, order quantity 3.
Can I replace a broken spring on my gripper?
Yes. If your vise gripper spring is stretched, bent, or broken, replace it with this tension spring to restore full resistance. Simply remove the old spring from the post and install the new one. No tools needed.
Quick Install: Open your vise gripper. Hook the spring onto the posts at each end. Add more springs evenly on both sides to keep tension balanced. Start light and progress.
Don’t Buy a New Gripper. Upgrade It.
