Frequently Asked Questions

What is the benefit of Needle Bearings vs. Bushings? Needle bearings consist of small rollers that allow the sleeve to spin much faster and more smoothly than a standard bronze bushing. This is critical for Olympic lifting, as it prevents the rotating weight of the plates from transferring torque to your wrists during the "catch."
Is 205,000 PSI too much whip for a daily trainer? Not at all. 205k PSI is the "sweet spot" for high-end bars. It provides enough whip to feel the bar move with you during heavy cleans, but remains stiff enough for squats and presses without feeling unstable.
Why no center knurling? Center knurling is typically used to keep a bar from sliding during heavy back squats. However, for 15kg bars used in Olympic lifting and CrossFit, we omit it to protect your neck and collarbones from abrasion during high-rep cleans.

Care & Maintenance

  • Horizontal Storage: Always store your bar horizontally to protect the needle bearing alignment.
  • Lubrication: Periodically apply a light lubricant to the sleeves to maintain the butter-smooth rotation.
  • Warranty: Backed by a 10-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
