CFF FIT Certified Refurbished — What It Means

A CFF FIT Certified Refurbished machine is pre-owned commercial fitness equipment that we professionally restore and verify to a like-new working condition. Every unit is deep cleaned, serviced, and fully tested to meet strict performance standards—so you’re not buying “as-is” equipment with unknown issues.

Certified Refurbished applies to our major cardio categories: Treadmills, Ellipticals, Recumbent Bikes, Upright Bikes, and Steppers/Stepmills (Powermills/Stair Climbers).

All Certified Refurbished units include our: 30-Day Warranty – Covers moving parts.
Note: Certified Refurbished equipment is still pre-owned and may show minor cosmetic wear from previous commercial use. Nothing that will affect performance.

What We Do — By Machine Type

Treadmills (Certified Refurbished Process)

  • Deep cleaned inside and out
  • New walking belt installed
  • New drive belt installed
  • Rollers removed, cleaned, and polished
  • Deck flipped or replaced depending on condition
  • Lower control board fully tested
  • Console fully tested
  • Console overlays replaced if worn
  • Drive motor tested
  • Incline motor tested

Ellipticals (Certified Refurbished Process)

  • Deep cleaned inside and out
  • New drive belts installed
  • Bearings tested
  • Lower control board fully tested
  • Console fully tested
  • Console overlays replaced if worn
  • Generator/alternator tested
  • Incline motor tested (if applicable)
  • Batteries tested — replaced if they do not meet OEM specs

Recumbent & Upright Bikes (Certified Refurbished Process)

  • Deep cleaned inside and out
  • New drive belts installed
  • Bearings tested
  • Lower control board fully tested
  • Console fully tested
  • Console overlays replaced if worn
  • Generator/alternator tested
  • Incline motor tested (if applicable)
  • Seats inspected — replaced if showing excessive wear or broken
  • Batteries tested — replaced if they do not meet OEM specs

Steppers / Stepmills / Powermills / Stair Climbers (Certified Refurbished Process)

  • Deep cleaned inside and out
  • New drive belts installed
  • Bearings tested
  • Lower control board and relays fully tested
  • Console fully tested
  • Console overlays replaced if worn
  • Generator/alternator tested
  • Chains inspected for stretching — replaced if worn
  • Gears and sprockets inspected — replaced if worn
  • Bearing guide rails flipped or replaced if there is any sign of wear
  • All steps and guide rods inspected
  • Clutch inspected
